I need to replace the air struts for a 1982 15 Meter Komet III Trailer.
Any suggestions for sources?

If you're in the US, you might try McMaster Carr. I got struts for the
front door of my LAK trailer at significant savings over ordering from
Europe. I just measured the strut (extended and collapsed) and read the
force off the side of the old strut. I was unable to get an exact match so
I ordered two that were slightly stronger. They work just fine.

I haven't researched where to buy, but a friend of mine replaced his with the following:

Bansbach easylift
QS-28-350--001 1300N

He had tried a heavier spring force but found it too hard for his wife to close the trailer and replaced them with the 1300N struts.

McMaster Carr also has adjustable ones that are excellent (and made in England!).
